Mukasa Joel,, He is 3 years old not school going. His mother died immediately she gave birth to the boy and the grand mother called Nalunga Sylvia 64 years old took over the care up to now. This never suckled his mother even a single day and as per that he became malnourished, the grand mother has struggled to make sure this boy survives. She sells banana leaves in the market where she collects them from the villages to the markets in the city. Though they don’t pay well, that is the only alternative. Besides she takes care of 9 children, 7 of them are grand children. She says that the way they got this boy was worse than that and to the people around there’s a great improvement. This boy’s father is there but he denies him and they don’t know his where about. The boy is 3 but you can think he is 1 year, he can’t move but can stand with support but not for long. The lady who takes care of this child is also crippled and no much is given to this child since the grand mother is on the move everyday to the market. This boy is malnourished still feeds on local food rich in only one food value which is not supportive for the child’s up bring making him retarded the more, This child needs to take at least a cap of milk a day to improve on his health. That is Joel when he tries to stand. So pitiful.The legs are so weak that he cant stand for along period, his whole body is heavy for the legs to support him upright., he is desperate as he is at times left alone as the young one neglect and despise him. We have managed to rescue some of this kind, with big berries, with wounds, malnourished and through the right feeding they are back to real life, but of course it has been with help from people like you who is reading this story. soon i will post successful stories of such children, even him can be changed and given life. if not this child could die, but i believe he will not die.

Nakato Christine She is 8 years in p.1, she is a twin to Babirye Beatrice, who lost her father at the age of 2, her mother got married to another man who doesn’t give enough care to them, like buying clothes,sholarstic materials, even ways of getting food is difficult, him not being their father. The mother got married to that man with 6 of them and now she has more 2 children with that man giving a total of 8 children. She cooks in a certain nursery school where she gets some thing for up keep as this man doesn’t give enough care to her other children.

She stays in a small house with poor ventilation, them being too many the condition of living is too poor putting tem at a risk of contacting air born diseases. The current father collects rubbish in town council where he is paid Ug shs 30000 or US$ 16 by the time he gets this money it all goes to drinking and some debts. This lady has got other children the eldest is 18 years old and is involved in brick making to get some survival, the 2^nd born in s.2 and being paid for by a certain catholic priest.

The mother currently cooks in a nursery school where she is paid Ug shs 30000 US$ 16 also a month, this money she puts in buying scholastic materials for the children and other basic needs, she also does petty jobs liking digging for people to get necessities like salt,soap,medical care and clothing for the children. The way these children sleep is so terrible; a seat serves as a bed for one child, some sleep on a dirty mat, some on a torn piece of a mattress and one small blanket that cannot cover all of them above all the floor is dusty that it could even contain lice, the general condition is so poor of these children.We pray that some one may have mercy on these children to improve on their conditions of living.

Those are the twins and the mother basing on the story on Nakato Christine above. and those are their other brothers and sisters .

This is a mattress they sleep on 4 of them. These children have got a dream but it may not come to pass if they are not given a chance to decent life. Together we can Nurture their dreams. Through our meager resources we have managed to take them to school, provide scholastic materials.
These are just few of many children who are living in such conditions and many stories that break our hearts when we fail to give a hand of help soon.
Where this child is, works as a bed at night for the children, if you can see properly there's another dirty mattress on the seat.

Together we can help these children live a decent life pleasing to their wellbeing. Any little can help, a blanket, a mattress or any thing.
Nothing small to a child who does'nt have anything.
